Medical, Dental, Vision
While you’re on disability leave:
- Your coverage continues up to a maximum of seven months.
- Your employee contributions are paid directly to Alight. You may then be eligible to continue coverage under COBRA. You may also qualify for lower costs on your monthly premiums and lower out-of-pocket costs by buying coverage through the health insurance marketplace.
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)
- Pay for your FSA deductions while you’re on leave.
- Stop your contributions.
Life and Accident Insurance
If you are disabled for more than six months, you may be able to continue your optional life insurance coverage at no cost to you under a premium waiver, subject to the insurance carrier’s ongoing approval.
