How to get started
Dental
The plan covers a range of dental treatments. Coverage is based on your employment status and includes:
Regular full-time and eligible part-time employees
- 100% of preventive care (up to a maximum of $1,500 a year)
- 80% of all basic-level dental services (fillings, extractions, root canals, etc.)
- 80% of major restorative care (up to $1,500 a year)
- 50% of orthodontic care (up to a lifetime maximum of $2,000)
Eligible Seasonal/contract employees
- 100% of preventive care (up to a maximum of $1,500 a year)
- 80% of all basic-level dental services (fillings, extractions, root canals, etc.)
Vision
Vision coverage is provided through your Sun Life Financial medical plan. Coverage includes 100% of the covered costs up to $250 every calendar year (for eyeglasses, laser eye surgery, and contacts) plus the costs of one eye examination per calendar year. Learn how to find a vision provider.
