What’s new for FY23

The following changes were effective August 1, 2022.

Supporting your health and well-being is what Intuit benefits are all about. As we start FY23, we’d like to remind you about the ways Intuit benefits have you covered this year—from keeping your paycheck costs steady and eliminating spousal and tobacco surcharges, to enhancements to the family support, emotional, and physical well-being benefits. We encourage you to get reacquainted with what’s new for FY23 and the full suite of benefits available to you and your families.

Supporting your emotional well-being

Introducing Lyra Health: Your new Employee Assistance Program (EAP) partner

We’re excited to share that you and your dependents now have access to enhanced EAP services through Lyra Health.

Lyra provides care for your emotional and mental health how, when, and where you need it. Whether you’re feeling stressed, anxious, or depressed, confidential support options from Lyra, including therapy, mental health coaching, and unlimited access to self-care apps, can get you back on your feet.

You, your spouse, and your dependents age two and older have access to 12 coaching or therapy sessions through Lyra Health each plan year, at no cost to you. For Cigna and UnitedHealthcare medical plan members, continued care with a Lyra therapist is also available through your health plan benefits with a $0 cost share.* Learn more about the enhanced Intuit EAP with Lyra Health and get started today.

Please note that Lyra Health replaced Optum as your EAP provider effective August 1, 2022. If you are receiving care from an Optum EAP provider, you may need to choose a new provider under Lyra. Learn more about the transition-of-care options available to you.

No cost for in-network behavioral health office visits

The Cigna and UnitedHealthcare plans pay 100% of the cost* of in-network office visits for mental health and substance abuse therapy. See the FY23 plan snapshot for more information about behavioral health office visits under the Kaiser plan.

* For the Cigna Choice Fund with HSA, the plan pays 100% after you meet the deductible.

Supporting your physical well-being

Travel and lodging coverage

We have expanded the travel and lodging coverage under the Cigna and UnitedHealthcare medical plans for plan participants who need to travel out of state to get medical care. Travel and lodging benefits under our Cigna and UnitedHealthcare plans include coverage for medical services that are covered under the plan but are not available within 50 miles (UnitedHealthcare) or 60 miles (Cigna) of an individual’s residence. Learn more about Intuit’s healthcare coverage and benefits on this site or call Accolade at 1-888-659-8305 for additional assistance.

If you are not enrolled in an Intuit medical plan and accessing medical services creates a significant financial hardship, reach out to HR Connect for additional support options.

COVID-19 and telehealth coverage

These benefits have been extended through the end of FY23:

  1. 100% coverage* for COVID-19 testing and treatment
  2. No-cost Teladoc telemedicine visits*

* For the Cigna Choice Fund with HSA, the plan pays 100% after you meet the deductible.
