Alternatives to Lantern

We recently learned that Lantern will be shutting down its mental health support services with its partners. As a result, we will no longer be providing Lantern as a benefit to the Intuit population.

If you were a user of Lantern, you are able to message your coach through July 31, 2018. And you’ll have access to your app (without coaching) through December 31, 2018.

Previous users of Lantern will still have access to Lantern’s tools and techniques through the end of 2018; however, there are a breadth of other emotional well-being programs available to you. If you’re interested in continued support, you may also be interested in:

  • Self-practice beyond the Lantern app: Whil can help you improve your health through a selection of 200+ programs. Each program runs 1-20 minutes.
  • Connecting with others: Increase your resilience and decrease your stress through eMindful's instructor-guided meditation classes. Topics include Stress Less, Live More, Living Well with Chronic Pain and Weight Balance for Life.
  • Speaking with a counselor: Through the EAP you can find ongoing support to manage stress, anxiety and depression. Your first six visits are free, and then you can work with your health plan to explore other counseling support options. If you reside in a country that has tele-behavioral health services, this is also a convenient option. We recommend finding a therapist who practices Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
